Crying and Pain
Q. If a baby seems like she is in distress or pain, how long do you let her cry before calling the doc?

A. If a baby can't be consoled by feeding, walking, hugging, bouncing, a warm bath with dad or mom and then nursing again . . . and again, call the doc within 15 to 20 minutes, no longer than that.
